Stephen Wong began working in the jewellery industry in 2008 in China and Hong Kong.

After many visits back and forth from China to Australia over 10 years, Stephen in early 2017  arrived in Adelaide, South Australia and quickly acquired an “International Operations Manager” position in a local family business Jeweller “Unique Opal Mine” which is located at 5 Rundle Mall in the heart of the CBD.

 

Stephen is in charge of all the International Gemstone Trade Shows and Overseas Trade for “Unique Opal Mine”. This includes China.  Stephen established an inner-city China Office in Shenzhen for “Unique Opal Mine” in order to trade directly from Australia to China.

 

Stephen is a qualified jeweller and now Opal Cutter, in store Stephen runs demonstrations for groups wanting to learn how to cut opal and also for customers by demand. Stephen and his team’s goal is to promote the Australian National Gem Stone “OPAL” to the world market and introduce as many people as he can to this beautiful gemstone.
